Spark offers a variety of services to families coping with challenges ranging from addiction to mental health to co-occurring disorders.  Services may take place in our office, in the community, or in a client's residence.  Our professional staff is connected to an array of community resources and provides a toolbox of strategies and activities that change lives.   

Substance Abuse Continuum 

Spark offers both outpatient and residential services for clients with substance abuse challenges.  Included is a specialized service for adolescents and their family.

Brief Strategic Family Therapy

BFST is an evidence-based practice that is proven to keep families together as well reunite families that have had children removed from the home.  Spark therapists provide services in the home and in the community to all family members.

Anger Management

The Anger Management Group is designed to serve youth and adults deemed to be at risk to reoffend due to aggressive behavior and lack of self control.

Academic & Therapeutic Mentoring

Educational and therapeutic mentoring services are available to improve academic performance in school and behavioral performance in the home and community.  

Parent Training Groups

The Spark Multi-family Educational Group assists families to learn effective parenting skills, positive discipline and clear communication skills.  Classes may take place at the Spark office or the agency site.

Parent Capacity Assessments

Parents and guardians participate in a series of interviews, observations and psychological tests to determine their ability to provide a safe and nurturing environment  A final report is provided to the Agency and Court.
